My son is scheduled to graduate on February 27th, 2015. He called the other day all stressed out that he may not graduate on that date due to 'too many goof-offs' in his division. Will he be able to graduate if there are too many of them? Or will he be able to graduate and do his PIR if he passes all the qualifying exams and stuff like that?
Please help. I would like to reassure him that he can and will if he does do everything to pass.
Thanks
Chad

What division is he in? My son is in 096.
Yeah, they tell them that sometimes. Don't worry about it. It is just part of how they get them to work together.
Best advice to tell him: do what you're told, do it fast, and keep your mouth shut unless you are spoken to
Thanks for that! I will let him know. I tried to tell him that when I talked to him. I told him he must be doing something right in order to be able to get to make a call home. I have read on here and on the other websites the Navy has you look at. And I was pretty sure you will pass if you do what you need to do and graduate. Just needed a little back up for it all to probably reassure myself as well.
I reiterate- divisions are NOT held back.....
That is probably the most common motivational threat used by RDCs at RTC. Let me assure you- divisions ARE NOT held back for any reason. If your son passes his PFAs, inspections, tests, etc., he will graduate on time.
