Fire arms

My son Tyler was trying for expert.  They asked those recruits that want to try for expert to shoot left handed. He crossed his thumbs & the slide cut his thumb open.  He did not get to finish.  He said he shot good enough with his right hand to qualify, but did not get a ribbon.  Will he be able to try again for a ribbon?  He has been doing great at boot camp.  He is a section leader & will be piping the officers @ the PIR.  I am very proud of him!

    That was my thought.

    My son is right handed but has always shot left handed. I have tried many times to get him to change because he can outshoot me lefty.
