Just Had A Call From Our SR - Ship 12 Div 228

My wife and I just finished a very nice 10-15 minute call with our SR (Ship 12 Div 228) which was surprising since we were not expecting the first call till next week. The official letter we received earlier in the week stated Ship 09 Div228 but on Navy for Moms we had  picked up from a one of the forums that Div 227 and Div 228 had moved to Ship 12, also their Divisions PIR date is 6/14/2013. He affirmed that the 2 Divisions had indeed moved to Ship 12 (USS Triton). Our son had a really good positive attitude and stated that Div 228 was doing good and working well together. We did lose the connection twice but he immediately called back. He said the food was good, they had finished the swim test and yesterday the first 1 & 1/2 mile run.

Overall a really good phone call (calls) and left us feeling pretty good about things, nothing negative at all in the conversation. He even chuckled a bit about being one of "The Dirty Dozen".

    My son is in div 227 ship 9 from what we have been told and his pir is june 14. Hope we hear from him soon. Good to hear your son is doing well and the group is working together

    I am so happy for all you families getting these positive, uplifting phone calls.  You must be so relieved and just overjoyed.  My son's PIR is 6/14 also but the call I got last Saturday was not as good as yours. His life as a computer guru did not prepare him for all the physical exercise and the running afterwards. lol  So glad that you are all able to speak with your SRs and hear their voices.  I know you are so proud and your minds are probably much more at ease now. Good for you!
