MERRY CHRISTMAS/HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

SHIP 03, DIV 076; PIR 1/25/03; future "Nuke";

Considering the holidays, & the sacrifices made by a few of our kids to help many of us live "free", and to enjoy the blessings & experiences of family, good friends & holiday traditions regardless of your faith.

We live in the River Parishes of SE Louisiana, (St. James Parish) the center of the Christmas bonfires lining the levee of the Mississippi River! Some of them pay tribute to the fallen angels of Sandy Hook Elementary. Others honor our kids in the military.

To family members who enjoy the connection of this site, & Navy for Moms, whether Navy Boot Camp or Navy Nukes, my family & I would like to extend sincerest holiday & Christmas wishes to all the families here & their loved ones here at RTC or currently serving anywhere in the world.

  • Nice to hear Paul. Since our son got there Dec 3rd, we've only gotten 1 call & 1 letter from him who is in a "push division" with a 1 week sooner PIR hopefully. So we're not sure if he or his div has been able to "earn" any phone calls yet, but we do expect his 3rd week call any day now. God Bless.

    Thank you. Merry Christmas to you and your family also.  My daughter is at Ship 12 DIV 089 with an PIR of 02/08/12.  Her first Christmas away and her first time away from home on her home.   The nice thing is received first phone call today and was nice to hear her voice and be able to reassure her that she will do fine and is almost half way there.  This is the beginning of her third week.  Our children have sacrificed  a lot to be away from their family for the holidays.  Most of them for the first time away from home.  God bless them all and watch over them.
