My son is in his 5th week at camp and the hole family has been sending letters for weeks now. We received some fro him this week and he said that he hasn't received any letters and seems very disappointed. I know some were sent with the wrong ship number. We sent them to him the same way the return address was printed (only his last name). Any suggestions?

I have heard so many different accounts of the mail situation and I can share mine and it was a surprise. My daughter left for bootcamp on June 21st and we have sent 3 letters addressing them Sr. Last name, First name, and Middle Initial. Today....30 min ago we received a letter from her wrote on July 3rd and she acknowledged she received all of our previous letters. It was a pleasant surprise since we were expecting a couple more weeks before she would mail us and or receive our mail. Aside from addressing her name in the manner we did we also included the ship number and division number which I think is standard. I hope you get resolution because I know our Sailors depend on those letters.
