Thanks to everyone,we have been writing letters even without the address so we can send them when we get it.I called his recruter and emailed him so i hope he gets back to me right away if not i will call again and or stop by the office.
Stanley, My son is starting his fourth week. He arrived at RTC on April 29th. Keep writing your letters and encourage your SR. My son says the training it is hard, but not too hard. Your son will do fine.
We got our letter in about 10-12 days. We actually got our sons address from his recruiter. He called me with the address. The recruiters cane be a big help. You might call them to see if they would know.
HI Stanley, I'm at RTC in Great Lakes right now for my son's PIR ceremony tomorrow 5-17-13. The box usually comes first in about 10 to 14 days. It may contain the "Letter" or not. If it doesn't, then you will get it a week later. Start writing your letters now and when you get his adress, you can mail them all together or one each day. Good luck and hang in there. The 8 weeks go by faster than you think. Hoo-Rah!
My son got to RTC may 7th! I got the box with his belongings on May 13th. Still waiting on the address to send him letters. I have written a letter everyday! Called his recruiter today trying to see if he had his address. It gets a little easier on ya in a few days. This is a great group to be a member of! I'll send you a link to a video you should watch. Another member sent it to me.
I don't want to make him home sick by telling him how much we miss him I think a flood of letters from us would make him home sick.I will have a letter ready to send the day we get the address and will give it to his friends who want to write him.
