My son leaves for BC July 19, 2011!

Hi all!  I'm a mom not a dad, but I was a single mom for many years...does that count?  Does anyone else out there have a child leaving for Great Lakes on the 19th?  If so I would love to hear from you.  The closer it gets the more emotional I become.  I am so proud of my son!!

    Got my hotel reservations made today for PIR! We've opted to drive instead of fly.  About an 8 hour drive.

    Have anyone on here found out there Sr's ship/division and PIR date yet.  Mine is 7/304 PIR Sept 16th.

    We said prayers in church Sunday for the families of these fallen heroes.   Will continue to pray that their familes find comfort in knowing they are in a better place.
