Help. My son Grads this month on the 30th. He said download a ticket, all i have is a Password. I am on the list, so do i still need a ticket. and from what site do i download one from.

Hello Bob. I just got back from Grad.My son called me on the WED before Friday Grad day, The Password is Just for a Parking Pass. I took a shuttle from the Days inn (stayed there) and saved a huge amount of time. The cars to get in are backed up a mile almost. We were dropped right off at the gate and walked 200 yards to get in. You need no tickets to get into ceremony . If your name is on the list, you show I.D. to get in. remember his Div Number. Enjoy. You will be very Proud Keith

Keith - I know right now you're at graduation, but when you return, can you tell me when you received the password from your son? We are down to 2 weeks left and have not received the password or the guest list. I was just wondering if you received yours just before you created this discussion.

Hi Keith - the password your son was referencing would more than likely be for a parking pass which you would need to get onto RTC if you were driving a vehicle. You can get one of those by following this link: http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp Scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see the upcoming graduation classes and their dates. On the right side of your sons PIR date, there is a link to get the pass. If he confirmed you are on the guest list, that is all you need. You will however need to show valid ID to get on base and into the graduation hall. Hope that helps.
Keith - Tickets/passes are not issued for the graduation. Recruits are permitted to list the names of their intended guests on the access list. Recruits cannot obtain additional ‘seats’ from other recruits. On the form letter that you've received should have the web address where you would input that password so you can print/download the "parking pass" if you are going to drive your vehicle in the base for graduation.
