Ship 03 DIV 277

Good Morning from Lake Charles, La!  I was happy to receive a form letter from my daughter yesterday giving me her ship and division.  If all goes well, she will graduate 08SEP17.  I'd love to connect with any other dads that have a recruit going through bootcamp with my daughter!

    I understand totally...this is our 2nd go around (our oldest finished boot in Sep 2011) But I still have anxiety and butterflies since this one is so different from his older brother. After I replied to your post I got a message that Jordan's address and expected PIR date came in. He is scheduled for 08SEP17 as well and is Ship 11 Div 283. Not the same Div but at least the same training group, so maybe we will cross paths.

    Phil - My daughter arrived ai GL on 12JUL17. I received the box Monday and then the form letter yesterday. I tell ya, it was nice to get her address and see her handwriting. Funny what makes you happy!

    Bobby- Just curious...when did your daughter arrive at GL ? My son arrived on 13JUL17 and we just got hix box yesterday. We were thinking his PIR might also fall around 08SEP17 but no official letter yet .

    Good luck and congrats on having a daughter in the Navy I wish her well. I used to live near Lake Charles while in the Army. Nice place
