Yep that was 813 in the first two photos in the 5/7 randoms. I did spot my son in one of them. Sorry, I know how much you wanted to see your son!!
He actually looked like he had put on some weight. I got to talk to him yesterday after BS21 and he confirmed that he has gained 12 lbs. due to reduced workout schedule and increase food intake to help fight off the constant fatigue.
He said that his section scored a perfect 5.0 on BS21 and that the division did really well. If they can keep from getting too many dings this week during routine inspections, they should acheive Hall of Fame.
HOOYAH 8-1-3
Man I can't wait til next week and start my trip to GL!
Do you mean the random pictures from last week? I saw them but could not make out anyone I knew. If you know a specific number of the sequence let me know, at least I can take another look. Thanks.

Yep my son got to call home too. He got to talk to his mom, brother, and girlfriend; but I was out and he just got to leave me a voicemail. Man was I disappointed!
Looks like they are approaching Hall of Fame status, if they came weather the tests this week and BattleStations.
Did any of you see the pictures of 813 on the RTC Facebook page? My son has actually put on some weight while there, more food less exercise. They are starting to call him fatty, he's up to 6% body fat now! I'm glad though, he needed some extra to help with the grind ahead.

I was on the road when my SR called home and spoke with my wife and his brother. Said he got the privilege because he had 'head duty'. Probably the only time cleaning a head was a good thing. He sounded great and was looking forward to seeing everyone and eating, a lot. This is a good thing. He said he had something for us so his mom is very excited, if that was possible. Two more weeks. Looking forward to the weekend. We will be at Sarge's meet and greet. I hope to meet you all there. The Moms are planning something for Starbucks Thursday PM. If we are there by then I am sure she'll go, too.
I just got off the phone with my son, wow! I hope all of you got a call or get one this week end. What an uplifting of the spirit to hear his voice. May God Bless and Keep those who choose to stand in harms way to protect us!
As far as I know it is open to Navy dads and Moms Thursday from 5pm-10pm at the Sundance Saloon at 300 Lakehurst Rd in Waukegan sponsored by the Saloon and a fellow called Sarge.this is a link to the sight: https://api.ning.com/files/q3GsmQc6VzyrxWDGQjdt5gfJ48Qri4Fh76O2Gbfas.Let me know I'll get extra info if there are hand outs. Battle Stations completed and passed by all in the Division. They are now sailors
the girl friend got the call not mom or dad, we have a sailor in the family!! congrats to Ship 04 Div. 813!!!
I can't tell if 813 is the first picture. My SR said that the div is down to 79 members as of last week. I heard that is about normal, too.
