Got the call this afternoon. "FINISHED BS-21. I AM NOW A UNITED STATES NAVY SAILOR!" She is sooooo excited and soooooo tired. Being former Navy, I know what she means. OPSEC prevents further info but it is an great accomplishment for all who went thru it. Now we finalize travel preperations and head on up there. Our family tradition continuesfrom her grandpa to her. MOM AND I ARE VERY VERY PROUD OF OUR NAVY DAUGHTER!!!!
Leaving Texas on Tuesday evening. Gonna try and make Sarge's Meet and Greet event Thursday evening. Hope to meet all when arrive. FINAL WEEK THEN GRADUATION. Our kids are the greatest!!!
Have two rooms booked at the Navy Lodge. Going to try and be there for "Sarge's Meet & Greet" the Thursday prior to PIR. Looks like a good event. Lets keep sending our sailors those letters no matter what and it wont be long now.
Just talked to my son Rick he is also excited to get to the next phase . Battle stations is on deck! I have booked my room and I'm working on a car rental ! Looking at enterprise for the car and staying at the Marriott Courtyard .
