Is there anyone out there who has information on ship 12, division 030. I got that bit of information from my son's recruitor, but nothing else. No letter yet or anything. I am the only one?

Steve,
I don't know if you've seen the PIR (Pass In Review) link to the lower right, on this page. It's a link to the Recruit Training Command, and gives you all the information you need to know about graduation. Follow the link, click on Families, and you're there. Graduation is an amazing experience, and I hope you can attend. Call me, or have Kandy call Sandy, and we'll help you all we can. There is a motel we stayed at, with a straight shot to the gate. Book a room now, and get your gate pass, as soon as they're available.
Be watching the Honor Graduates list. Colt just may show up on there! Good luck, and Go Navy!
One more thing, when you go to base, get there as early as possible. The seats go fast, and you'll want to stop at the NEX and pick up a Navy ball cap.
My son is on Ship 12 Division 030, we've heard from him a couple of times and have gotten a few letters. He called his girlfriend the other day and talked to her for 20 minutes. This is new to us, not sure what to expect when we go to his graduation. I understand the graduation is December 22, 2010. Is that the date you have?
It has been a great last 24 hours. Got the welcome packet with my son's mailing address and projeted graduation information. Then got a call from him about an hour ago. He sounds tired, which is to be expected. But he also sounds good and his voice sounds like he has found what he needs to help hime grow. I am so very proud of him.
