Ship 2 Division 929

Just got word that my son is here for Boot Camp. Any other parents here with sons and daughters in that ship?

It looks like PIR will be June 3, though nothing has been officially posted yet.

    Believe me, no news is good news. His mother got a call on Thursday night and it wasn't good news. Other than that phone call, she has only received the box, the form letter, and one letter.

    Nice to meet you all too. I'm in Central Texas (near Austin) and I plan on riding my motorcycle up there, weather permitting. I love long rides, and this one should do the trick :)

    I guess this is the "nerds" Division ;)  I keep learning more about the 900's. They are the performers and the high ASVAB scorers. Have you heard anything else about this group?

    His mom got the Kid In The Box. Didn't hear they were wet. She lives in Houston. She gets all the phone calls and letters too.... I sent him a phone-card, so we'll see if he takes the hint ;)

    Yep, I'm sure they're have a great and very cold weekend.  I'm hoping they get a chance to read their letters this week. Is your son going to Nuke school after this?
