    My son Matthew is in this group, we just recently received a letter from him and he sounds good, he said he's making friends, that the RDCs or Company Commanders as we used to call them seem pretty cool, and he was very proud of the fact that he hadn't been yelled at yet. We are looking foreward to meeting some of the parents at PIR but also at the mixer the night before, we had a great time meeting parents when my older son went through boot 6 yrs ago.

      Dean, thnx for staying in touch, we rcvd great letters ourselves and he is very happy with his decision also!

    Greetings and congratulations to your son.  I am close, but my son is one week later, PIR on 8/8/2014.  Just wanted to wish you a FINE Navy Day!!!
