HI. My daughter did not pass her las PFA prior to PIR. She called home an told us she would be moved to another ship. I wanted to know what happens next. Does she move directly to her "A" School or does she graduate with another class. Any infomration would be helpful.

There is a "FIT" division that they might send her to. I believe they work with them there to help them pass. She may not get to walk in a graduation but once she passes her PFA & does BS she may just go directly to her A school. Hopefully she gets sent to FIT and they work with her....keep us posted. Good luck to her.
wow thats great I would be watching the replay alot as well, thats cool. Diver hugh, mine is EOD.. As I said I still remember my time there as well, 1978 been awhile and alot has changed but it is still a Brotherhood>>>>I see some of those guys to this day and I am even a founder of an Assn of one of my ships.
Wow, thats awesome! :)
My son was just sent home about a month ago due to hurting his back and he just told me that they may send her home. One of the girls that went before him was sent home due to the same thing so I am not really sure what will happen. Sorry about the news but I guess they are getting real strict and picky there. My son also said they sent a kid home because he was too shy and did not want to "conform" sad thing was both his parents were Navy Officers Bet that was a lousy home coming. Best of luck,,,,
It is my understanding that they are also close to being Hall of Fame Division as well that would be a double whammy... Talk about attention....
She will graduate with another class, she will be in a hold until she does pass it and then will probably graduate with the next class. That is my thought at least, they wont let them graduate until the PFA is passed. That will delay her trip to A school as well. I know they do send students to A school and if it is in session then you will stand guard duty, clean ect until your class is set to start. Things have changed over the years but at least some of this is my guess. I have 2 more weeks until I attend a PIR, Oct 31, spec ops I am proud of this special forces sailor!!!!
Agreed Wayne...but not sure that is how it plays out....
