The day before PIR

We had a friend tell us they heard that there was a "Family Day" on Thursday prior to PIR on Friday.  Has anyone heard of anything or know anything about this?  I have not heard or read about this if it so.

    there are other meet-and-greets I've heard but nothing else that I'm aware of on an organized basis

    Thanks guys, I am aware of Sarge's meet and greet.  I thought maybe they were referring to something different.

    several of the hotels and a guy they call Sarge has a meet a greet the day before.  I made reservations at Ramada inn and they told me about it.
