Tony, Class 273 had six go all the way through to SQT Graduation. There were more that started and finished in another Class. Classes in Pre-BUDS are much larger to start with but are about the same size by the time they ship to Coronado.
Good Luck to your Son and please tell him that my Family and I are keeping him and his Class in our Thoughts and Hearts.
Sounds like the BUDS attrition rates have dropped some. I wonder if some of the drops have moved from BUDS to the Prep course and the overall numbers are nearly the same.

Tony,
I don't have any stats, but I know when my oldest son (who graduated Boot Camp with Div 807 in Jan 2009) went through Hell Week (with BUD/S Class 277 in Jun 2009) -- his CO (who I happened to meet during one of my Sunday morning walks in Coronado) said that 14 men from 807 completed Hell Week together. He told me that the previous "record" was 3 men, and he remarked that the pre-BUD/S course at Great Lakes is really preparing them well!
My oldest son was rolled back to Class 278 (during his final evolution of SQT) -- and rec'd his Trident in Aug 2010!
Right now, my youngest son (who graduated Boot Camp with Div 820 in Sep 2010) is in pre-BUD/S at Great Lakes. If all goes well, he'll ship to Coronado in Jan 2011 (I believe he'll be in BUD/S Class 288).
