Steven- this is not a closed group so the discussions are not closed as well...the individual class groups are...I don't know where folks are with starting a new group for those in the teams.....I've offered help in doing so but haven't heard any updates....
so are they rolling him to a different class? For a story of SEAL perseverance I would recommend reading Fearless....it is about Adam Brown who is a legend in the SEAL community for overcoming insurmountable odds to make it to DEVGRU.....
I never received a confirmation to join this group, but don't bother at this point.. My son was dropped today from 299 due to a recurring injury. All the way thru Hell Week and he never quit. It really sucks.
Congrats to 299. Well done boys. I'm so proud of all the boys...those who gave it their best...those who gave it their all and especially those who made it through. I've never been so proud as a dad. God Bless you all. Way to go son.!!!
When Hell Week is secure (finished) sometime on Friday they will have a group picture on the beach, maybe a last medical exam and then dismissed for a hot shower and long nap. On Sunday, as I understand, an anonymous benefactor will host a brunch for the class and guest(s). The next week is "walk week" focused on recovery. HooYah!
The three weeks of Phase I leading up to Hell WeeK is when the rubber hits the road. Hell Week will test who really wants to be a SEAL. Good luck to your son. HooYah!

My son finished the second week of indoc for class 299. Any news?
My son was rolled to #299 from #298 after Hell Week so I would like to join #299. I also assume that #299 has started and should finish Phase 1 near the end of next month. Thanks. HooYah!
