My son graduates in July and I have heard about a 5 family member limit to attend . Has anyone else had to deal with this ? Any suggestions on more attending ? Grandparents, parents , siblings is already 6 .....

we just were there this month and there were 13 of us. my son even got someone in who didn't have an invitation. I did hear somewhere along the line that they only guarantee a set # of seats but standees are allowed. I agree with Grandpa the number of invitations allowed was 5 and we put multiple names on each invitation, usually by family.
NSWC has changed the attendance limit from my understanding. I believe the limit of 5 referred to the number in invitations mailed out. I think they have now or about to change it to 1. You guy should be able to give a list or you should be able to reply (check with him) as to the number and names that will attend. I understand the due to budget cuts printing and mailing invitations and providing food was getting expensive. Since it is outside on the Grinder and under a Tent they don't have a lot of room, they really do not want 20 or so per guy showing up. Your guy should be able to find out if he need to add names or if you can reply back.
Hope this helps.
