OCS Class 04-18

Hi - My husband and I have a son in 04-18.  I am having no luck finding graduation information - dates or details.  Does anyone have a good source for that info.  Thank you!

    Rick - Thank you for the link!  I had been all through the OCS Facebook page and loved the pictures, but didn't find any recent graduation info!

    Debbie - The graduation date we've been given is Friday, 12-8-17.

    There is a reception we should plan to attend Thursday evening and graduation is Friday morning??  Did your son and other members of his class have liberty after graduation?

    As far as liberty it depends on your sailor if he request time off.

    There is a Hi Moms get together on Thursday the week of graduation. Depending on the class it may just have hors doeuvres or have a dinner. 

    Friday morning there is a run around 06:30 in the morning and graduation is around 10:30

    Hi Debbie, You should go to the Facebook page listed above, then look at the groups listed and you will find the family members for your sons group.  They will post pictures and have discussions.  You can also go to the top of Navy Dads on this page- Click on "Groups" (above, on this page) select Navy OCS Dads.  This will take you to the OCS page there is a discussion led by LTB that details everything you need to know including sites to visit, this gal did her research.

    I do not have a source. But I just attended my son's Graduation/Commission. On October,6, 2017. Graduation was or is twelve weeks or the Friday of the twelfth week.  I should be able to answer most questions you may have. If not my son will be in country for one more weak before he ships out I should be able to ask him providing he remembers everything.
