Our Son's Aircrew Candidate School Starts 14 January 2014

Our son and the rest of is division, Div 801 just graduated from RTC on Friday 15 November 2013. They left for Pensacola on Sat; Aircrew Candidate School is scheduled for 14 January. He and his shipmates are anxious to get started. I think there was about 30 to 35 would be rescue swimmers in his division at RTC.

    Finally classed up started ACS one week ago today on 24 Feb; found out on his birthday!!!!!

    My son is div 807 PIR 2/7/14 left for Pensacola 2/8/14 and his div is going to rescue swimmer school first, starting this week. They were told that they would have had to wait too long for flight crew training so they are skipping that one for now. Lots of nerves, they didn't get much swim time at RTC. Anyone know what that school all involves?

    OK so I spoke too soon evidently, he hasn't classed up as of yet but will probably do so very soon. There are a few from his div that start ACS this coming Monday. Should be soon I would think.
