    That would have been nice back when my sailor graduated in May '13, unfortunately there was a Power School and A School graduation that same day so we were not allowed to attend. (the CMC was 1/2 hr late because there was so much going on)  The good news was a weekend with him in Charleston sampling their history and cuisine.

    The ceremony at goose creek for my son was held on the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point. Families were allowed to go. I believe every sailor could invite 3 guests. This might depend on class size. Ceremony was very nice. I had a chance to talk with the CO and instructors afterward. All very good people.

    GC just recently started holding graduation at Patriots Point. BS holds them in a local community center. No invitations are sent out.
