Meet and Greet?!

Hey guys, the meet and greet event I posted was taken down by the site admin because it is not an officially sanctioned event, which is fine. There are good reasons for it, but I'll not get into that here.

We have two options for meet and greets.

#1. Sarge's taxi/limo service meet and greet where Sarge from NavyforMoms puts on a presentation about PIR. Because this is put on by a company I imagine this would include a pitch to use his service as well. That just makes sense.

This one is at the Sundance Saloon in Waukegon.

#2. There is another meet and greet organized by a member at NavyforMoms at Flanagan's Sports Bar and Grill in North Chicago.

Both feature free food, but Flanagan's includes free rib tips, wings and $1 domestic drafts.

I'm leaning towards going to the one at Flanagan's, but figured I would throw it out there to see what you guys thought.

  • Thanks for the heads up there buddy. Lol.
  • OK. We're at Flanagan's as I type this. What a waste of time. There are only 6 other families here. No one is talking to anyone. We are sitting at 7 different tables in a huge room that is very bright. Food is the pits. No meeting, and no greeting. Definitely not worth the gas it took to drive here from the hotel.
  • I agree with you Jeff; Flanagan's. Parents are parents......There would be both Moms and Dads at both. We should all get together in one place.
