I read in the FAQ's that I can send a pair of contacts and a small bottle of solution to my son so he can wear them at graduation. Question I have is does anyone know when I can send them. For example do I have to wait until after a certain time frame before I send them or can I send them now. He has been in boot camp for 2 weeks now.  Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

    This is from the RTC Facebook page...posted in 2012:

    Recruits may receive one pair of contacts and one week's worth of solution to wear for photos and/or graduation.

    Thanks Paul. I'll have to plan accordingly then to make sure he gets them in time. I figure if I send them out 2 weeks prior then I should be good to go. I'll have my son try and find out next time he calls.

    I believe he can receive them 1 week prior to PIR
