Just got home from my son's PIR on 04-22-11

What a great time we had! My son's division, Div 144, was an honor division, the only one out of 11 divisions graduating on Good Friday.  We spent Friday after PIR chatting, went out to eat, had a great time with him.  He left Saturday morning for Goose Creek, South Carolina, where he will be in Nuke school for the next 18 months.

I highly recommend the Residence Inn in Waukegan if you need a place to stay, they will arrange a shuttle to get you to and from the PIR ceremony, they have a wonderful hot breakfast, and the rooms are great.  Awesome place to stay.

    Hi Harley. Congratulations and Bravo Zulu to your son.  My son is at Goose Creek also. His PIR was on April 01.  He is starting his A-school classes this week.  Don't be surprised if it takes a couple of weeks for him to "class-up".  JB
