Our SR called the other day saying that other recruits are spreading the word that it's all over Navyformoms that Div 089 is the absolute worst ever. We have not been able to find anyone saying that on Navyformoms ourselves. Anyone heard anything? I suspect it might be a ploy by the RDC's to motivate them. Ryan does say that the unit doesn't get along very well, by also read on Navydads from a Navy Vet. that this is normal early on.
Ryan was brave enough to make this decision, I really hope it turns out to be a good experience for him. He's been studying Martial Arts since he was about 6 years old or so and has the discipline he needs. It sounds like some of the younger recruits may not yet. I hope things get better.

you are correct in that it is a common ploy used to motivate.....as is the "the whole division will be delayed and PIR pushed back"- not gonna happen! Stay positive as things will come together......
