PIR Access List

I'm a little confused about the access list. How soon before the PIR date does my son have to put me on the list? will he know where and how to do this? I'd hate to drive all the way to great lakes from new york only to find i'm not on the list.

    I already received the letter. The 4 lines are empty, because he didn't know if I'd be able to make it. But now he knows I can. His PIR date is July 11. How does he go about putting my name on the list, or is it too late?

      this is from RTC:

      It is the recruit’s decision whom to place on the access list. Please communicate with your recruit well before the final week of training to be sure the right names are on the list. The Public Affairs Office does not have a copy of the access list as they names on the list are not divulged to the public. No additions, deletions or changes will be made to the access list the week of graduation.
