Looking for any info that may be out there regarding liberty for the Division 801 guys with PIR 30 Nov 2012. My son stays at Great Lakes for SWCC Prep after Bootcamp. Just wondering if they would expect to have liberty all day on Saturday Dec 1st?

That matches with what I've been led to expect for my Div 802 son.
Michael...went through this a few months ago with my son who was in 04/814. After PIR, you'll have a few minutes with your son before his having to transfer and in process at naval Station Great lakes. this could take several hours. I was able to pick my son up at the visitors center at approx 3:30pm. The visitors center is at the main gate on, I believe Farragut Ave. We had the rest of the afternoon and evening before his having to be back to his ship at 2200. Its about a 15 min walk but we were able to drive through the gate and I was able to drive him back to his ship. The chief had told the sailors they could have liberty the next 2 days beginning at 0630 until 2200 but my son relished the idea of sleeping late so our day began at 0800 each day. Hope this helps.
