The issue seems to be the Sailors inbox is full. Ask them to delete their inbox. But my Sailors Chief ragged on me for contacting him...

Jim, thanks for actually posting the entire rejection message.
I also had been sending e-mail just fine from from a Yahoo email account to my son on a sub for two weeks. Then all of a sudden on Tuesday I started getting the same 550 SMTP error with the [BODY] tag.
Same message will go out fine from a GMAIL account.
Very short test message from Yahoo account still fails immediately and consistently when sent to my son's e-mail address but, work fine from GMAIL.
The immediate part is significant, because the first failure message was returned hours after the first sent message was rejected.
When I say they work fine, I mean they get a typical, e-mail modified message back from Sailor Mail, and my son is replying to both addresses from the sub ( replying to the yahoo messages that went through for two weeks and the GMail message as well ).
The error message I am getting is shown below - with the name of the Sailor and Boat Changed
a id="yui_3_7_2_1_1368645666122_3545" href="mailto:LastFM@BoatName-gold.navy.mil" name="yui_3_7_2_1_1368645666122_3545">LastFM@BoatName-gold.navy.mil>: Remote host said: 550 [BODY]
Names were changed above to protect those not wanting to receive spam.
FYI, I test again manually typing in my son's e-mail address, and not using the contact I had set up, and used for both the successful, and unsuccessful, message from the yahoo mail account.
Same error message when typing it in from scratch and when using the contact list that worked for two weeks before it stopped working.

reply lately,no statement such as 'undeliverable' . I wasn't aware there was a problem.Thought it might have to do with fleet location. I appreciate reading your up to date comment.
550 usually means that the mailbox does not exist -- obviously we know that's not true. hmmm my suggestion is to create a Gmail Account it would take to a minute and it's free. If you get the same DFR then it's on the @Navy.mil end of the port. If you do get through using Gmail it could mean a whole different ball of wax happening with your Yahoo mail account...
