Been in the Navy 10 years. EMC (SS). Electrician's Mate Chief (Submarine Service). Please don't misunderstand, but I am not going to accept any friends here do to wanting to take a neutral stance on these discussions. I came here solely to try and clear up misunderstandings about general Navy related topics. In no way do I speak for the Navy or the circumstances behind any specific situation. I am also not a source of Legal advice. I know this means that I won't be able to send individual messages, but I will reply on a wall post for an individual question.     When my son first enlisted into the Navy I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to his future. Soon after that, I created this site for us Dads. Let me be the first here to thank you for your commitment to serve our country and to protect its freedom. We dads and moms on here are very proud of all our Sailors serving in the Navy. Please jump right in and make this site your own. We love our Sailors on here! They have been a big help to us parents and we hope to them as well. Also we will support you every step throughout your journey in the Navy. We parents on this site are here for anything you need. God bless you in your travels and thanks again for joining us.

    Welcome to NavyDads EMC (SS)! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun, useful, and educational as I have. Explore the site and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I certainly have! If you have any questions or concerns ...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) returned spring '09 from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) just completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And EMC (SS) this is a great place to brag as well! So join in and let us know how you are doing!
