Retired auto worker, father of 4. Oldest is a daughter in college on the GI bill. She did 4 years in the air force. Now my oldest son has enlisted in the navy. He is 21 and signed up as a hull tech for 6 years.

My son is recently enlisted (before PIR)

What Were Your Feelings When Your Sailor Joined The Navy:

My first thought was relief. Does that make me a bad guy? I felt that he has made the best choice he could make for his future.
