Welcome to NavyDads.com Rob! I'm sure you'll find NavyDads.com as useful, educational and informative as I have. Please explore the site and make some new Navy friends. Be sure to read the discussions add your comments or start a new discussion. Browse through the postings in the various groups or start a new one. I certainly have! If you have any comments, questions or concerns or suggestions be sure to post them! In my experience someone here can answer your questions or concerns or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm blessed to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) is stationed on the carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) recently completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Rob this is a great place to brag as well! So join in, get active, and be sure to let us know you are doing! Please remember that we talk about the Navy here and we must keep the security and safety of our sailors and the fleet in mind at all times. On the right or starboard side of every NavyDads.com page is an area we call About This Site. Please take a minute and read through the Operations Security (OPSEC) link for some guidelines as to what we should and should not talk about in a public forum like NavyDads.com. And stop by the NavyDads offical store- Navyoutfitters.com! Show your support for NavyDads.com by wearing the latest in NavyDads attire. Best Regards- Paul
Welcome aboard Rob.
It's nice to have sailors here on the site to help shed some light on the things that we as dads and moms share that our sailors have told us. we do a good job relaying the information but there are always things that are left out or lost in translation. Thank you for joining and I look forward to reading some of the insight that you have to share with our members.
When my son first enlisted in the Navy I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to his future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads but found out I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and hope this site will benefit Navy families that follow behind me. So jump right in, join groups, share info, and help as you can. Thank you for your service and thanks for joining us.
Sincerely, E.G.
