Captain's Chair

(March 24, 2012) Gold Eagle Sailor of the Week Fire Controlman 2nd Class Christopher Campbell, assigned to the Combat Systems Department’s CS-6 Division, sits in the Captain’s chair while meeting Commanding Officer Capt. Kent D. Whalen aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
