  • I have heard of such stories, thank God the information our son recruiter gave us didn't change. My son has been receiving our letters.

  • Be careful in assuming the recruiter has the latest ship info for address....that is not always the case.  Also be aware that until final ship assignments are made (that can take a week after arrival at RTC) and division command is setup and everyone trained that the recruits will not get any mail for awhile.....it could be two-plus weeks utnil they get your letters.

  • Thanks Alex, Will contact Officer Ross straight away. Good to hear you are cancer free! Will pray for your continued good health!

  • Monday after he left, the NRS will have his Division, Ship and full address and expected PIR (graduation) date. This has been difficult for me as well, he is my only son and I was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago (all good now) and cherish our times together.

  • Will the NRS office have this info before Cam can it to me? Thanks for all the words of advise and welcome! This is a difficult time for me, I put my life on hold when he was born, and Cam has been my everything. This site will help, I can fell it already. Thanks again.

  • best advice call his recruiter to get your son address and start writing right of way, he will appreciate that

  • Congrats
