Page from my son's great grandfather's war journal. In his words he describes a Japanese kamikaze attack on the USS Saratoga CV-3 during WWII. He was 19 years old at the time.

    Hard to imagine what would go though the mind of a 19-year old having to experience this....thank you for posting.  Treasure these things....it is a link to your heritage.
