SWCC (Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen) has a long history as a part of Naval Special Warfare. They date back to the PT Boats during World War II. The Boat Teams originated with the Brown Water Naval Force of 1964 that supported the American Military during the Vietnam conflict.
