As it turns out Sam DID get leave. . . Surprised us Tuesday evening, knocked on the door. What an awesome surprise. . . The Best part: he spent his own $ to buy his airline tickets! He's growing up! It was really great to have him here for Christmas -it may be a few years before he's home for Christmas again.
WOW! That's Awesome! Our son had PIR the same day - now at Goose Creek Nuke A school. No leave, will not be home for Christmas.

Our sailor graduated PIR last Friday and left for A school on Saturday morning. We were informed tonight that he has 15 days leave-- going negative 10 days vacation-- and will be home for Christmas. Which makes us all relieved.
