Navy Religious Program (RP) Specialist

My son Brian is in this program, but is very new to it and is just now going through his A school training. Is there anyone who can give us further information about this rate or some feed back as to what to expect. I thought he would be working with other Naval personel, and spend 50% of his time on ship. It looks like he will be spending quite a bit of time with the Marines, going through the crest program with them to become Fleet Marine Force qualified.

    Hi Van- I do some some social media work on behalf on the Navy, and think it would definitely be worthwhile to check out the Navy Chaplain Facebook page http://on.fb.me/eaPUsd. A lot of current service members and officers frequent the page, so you should be able to find some useful information there (even with Brian being an RP Specialist vs. Chaplain). Hope this helps!
