  • I definately would NOT.  If you send anything during boot camp, make it letters which contain your love in words.

  • What you don't want to do is make her noticed in boot camp.  You want the RDC on the last day to say to her "You were in my division"?  Boot camp is the only place in the Navy where you just want to be average and not put yourself in the lime light.  Even if she could receive flowers, which she can't, she would be totally ticked at you.

Don't even think of sending anything other than letters.

  • Again it's all up to you. If you want to send her the bouquet then go ahead. You asked and we just replied. It doesn't matter to me if you listen or not. I'm just giving you the feed back you asked for is all.

  • The only thing she is allowed are pictures and letters. Anything else she will not receive. Someone got cookies my son said and the RDC's gave it away to other recruits. I know you think it will be sweet for her to get some roses but just keep it simple. Only letters and pictures are accepted. Anything else will either be returned or tossed out I'm sure.

  • nope....follow the rules for her benefit...and for the benefit of her shipmates...the rules are there for a reason...you may not understand or agree with it, but it is what it is
