My son is in his 3rd full week. Wife and I had dinner with Navy4Moms last week. 5 more Fridays to go. Got the 1st hand written letter today, Yay. Any other families in Avon - Danville area have new recruits at GL's?

As we / he nears his 1st anniversary in the Navy (Oct 6) I can hardly believe how quickly time has passed. He's now in the sand box and sent us a picture I wanted to share. He's learning and growing and I couldn't be more proud. Here's one pic he posted that I hijacked from his fb page.
We had PIR yesterday, man what a feeling it gives a guy that was there 30 years ago. So proud of my son, now in Mississippi and checking into his a school barracks.
