    Finalizing plans to see our daughter.  She called last week her ships Friends and Family Cruise had been approved.  Don't think we can pass up a chance, even just a day, cruise aboard the Truman.

    Hi Steven;  Emporia is in the First District.  Maybe you should send the information to Jim Sherow, the Democratic opponent to Rep. Huelskamp. He is probably easy to contact.

    Forgot to say. I THINK this is the picture I took in Rep. Huelskamp office in Wash DC.  Anyone see a US Navy Plaque?  I still need to confirm this is Huelskamps office.  We visited all 4 Rep's and both Senator's in one day so I want to be sure before I start to make navy wave's!!

    Thanks for the reply's.  I'm looking for a Navy Dad that lives in District 1 of Kansas.  I may have an issue with Congressman Huelskamp not recongizing the US Navy.  Not sure yet but I can't email them (they won't except an email from you if you don't live in the district)  If anyone lives in District 1 I can provide details and hope for your assistance.

    I'm still here. My son was promoted to MMN2 (SW) a few months ago. He is on the USS Ronald Reagan which is participating in RIMPAC right now.
