My son Edward just received his orders for Everett,Washington. His buddy wants to swap it for Washington,DC.
Are opportunities for advancement better at one or the other, or does it matter at all?
Any comments would be good.
Mom likes DC cause it's closer to home, Mass!
I think he should choose his own, maybe take the one that was assigned to him.
What do you think, anybody?
my son is currently on the uss carl vinson.he is hoping to get to A school soon to finish his M A . Jonathan is a very determined young man.He recently came home in Feb. for his moms b-day and you can tell the navy is making the boy grow up and become a man.He was glad to also get back to his ship..
My son Andrew Rooths graduated from RTC last weekend and is now starting his first week in A School at Little River, VA. I am so very proud of a young man who has strugled to find his identity. After not being able to finish the run in the required time, could have quit but he decided, with the encouragement of his instructors and shipmates, that quiting was not an option. I pray he makes the Navy his career.
