Background of Mollys Adopt A Sailor

June 2008 I asked a few Navy moms if they would help me on my bithday adopt a group of deployed sailors that none of us knew. 10 Navy moms said yes ---- it went so well we did it again the next month with a different group. fast forward 2 years

June 2010 we have 690 Navy moms, 3000 facebook fans, 1800 twitter followers, and a website.

We are a 501c3 non profit.

And we have never missed a month adopting deployed troops.

We have done Sailors, Marines, Army so far ---if they ask to be adopted, we say yes. Heck there is no other answer then YES !!

This is a 100% volunteer run group, we have no overhead, we pay for nothing, and no one gets paid.

They either donate their expertise and or time or not. Even our website cost is donated.
