Hey there, Fellas! Hope all is well with all of you...AND your sailors!
My son Dylan is halfway through Nuke Prototype and doing quite well with it all. I couldn't be prouder of him. He seems genuinely happy with his choices too. So much so that he is planning on applying to the STA-21 program.
Would love to hear more about what you guys are doing with Ham Radio these days.
Within the last few months I have added Digital modes to my operating arsenal. It is amazing what can be done with one little ICOM 706Mkii radio!
Still trying to hone my skills on CW as well. That might be a losing battle though...I don't know how some guys can do the speeds they do! But I will keep pounding away on my straight key and doing the best I can. Quality beats quantity any day, right?
Anybody active in ARES and/or RACES?
