I know my son will be leaving for his A school the next day-Sat-not sure of the time. I will have day of graduation and some time on Sat until he flies to Pensacola, FL. I believe other recruits have longer-maybe a few days. Hope to see you 9/2!!

Today was 819's phone day but due to some disciplinary measures their time was cut short. I hope you all got calls today! Some reports say our division is having a hard time coming together yet others say they are doing great; different perspectives from different SRs. They begin firefighting this week I think around Wednesday. They may get another call on August 31st, just two days before PIR. I pray for all of them and my SR many times a day.

Hey thanks for creating this group Carol. Lets get a strong group going so we can build and have a blast at graduation. We will be attending the meet and greet on 9/1 evening, look forward to meeting everyone

I am looking for information regarding how much liberty my son will have following PIR. He will be staying at Great Lakes for A school. Does anyone know?
