Anyone still using Skype on a regular basis? Haven't seen any activity in here for a long time.....

PapaUrsa when Trevor was in Great Lakes we always had a laggy connection. Once he got his ashore living his connection was a lot better as he had higher speed internet than what is on the base.

Every time I Skype with the kids I can't wait for the next time to come around as I know he is going to have more to tell me about the turns that his Naval life has taken.

Got to Skype with him on Fathers Day...it was great! My middle boy (sitting with me) was laughing at me as I tried to touch the screen.

My sailor's connection was a bit laggy in Great Lakes but it was still amazing.

Can't wait for July to come...I am aniticipating another session with him since it will be my birthday!

Welcome aboard Mike and Papaursa. Sorry it took me so long to welcome you guys. Haven't dropped in in a while been busy with life. I hope that you guys are finding your way through Skype easily an finding that it is the next best thing to talking to your sailor in person. I Skype with my son, daughet in law and grand daughters weekly and enjoy it very much as they are in California and we are here in Oklahoma.

saw on the headlines that Micrsoft is buying SKYPE......we'll see if it integrates with Microsoft products somehow.....

Thats good to hear Jim. Glad that it wasn't something serious with your computer nor SKYPE itself. I didn't think about it but I uninstalled windows messenger for the same reason. I had a conflict with it and yahoo messenger.
