What is USS Ronald Reagan's destination? I have a sailor on this carrier. I have not heard from him since early September.
Read more…My son is on this aircraft, it is his first deployment so he didn't know much about life on the ship before he left. talked to him on Sunday and they were boarding and after that nothing. Any idea does he have a email access or when can I expect to hear from him? I know that he is busy and got lots to learn and do now, but I am wondering if I should look for email or text or something from him. God bless them all
Read more…Hello folks. My son just started his tour on the Regan Dec. 8th. We are so proud of him. He is only 18, but what a difference the NAVY has made in him already. Hello All, just joined this site. Was a member of navy dads 7 and a half years ago when our son Jon first enlisted. He is a AD1 now serving on the uss ronald reagan in Japan. This is his second deployment on a carrier. His first deployment was on the uss carl vinson in 2011/2012. We had the privilege of the tiger cruise on the vinson! What an opportunity for parents!
the chow has always been complained about. I was in from84-88 and it was not good then. the first couple of weeks after the replenishment its fresh then its not. they used to have a burger line 24-7 I haven't heard if they still do.. good luck welcome to the Reagan crew
Hello, I just joined the group today, thanks for setting this up! I have a question, am I the only one getting feedback on the chow on ship not being that great, or is my boy just being picky? He hasn't been known to be a picky eater in the past, just wondering.
Thank you for the welcome. My son will be joining the Air Group 7 in Atsugi in about a week or two. CVN 76 is already over there, how does he get there? Commercial jet?
Nice Gerald. My daughter's squadron will be going to the USS George Washington CVN 73. From there she will be sailing around to the east coast.
Our grandson Corey is now serving aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. He is proud to be aboard "America's Flagship", and we are proud of him. Our uncle was KIA serving with the 76th Inf Div during WWII, Corey's first duty is aboard CVN-76, the Spirit of 76 carries on.
