I'm in law enforcement. I served 8 years in the US Navy Reserve in the Construction Battalion (NMCB-16 and CBMU-303) as a BU. I am married and have three children, including my son, Ian. I'm very proud of Ian and hope he has great success!

I'm happy to have put this out there for us dads. We are linked with N4M's but it is buried in their site in the navy links. The moms site is run by the ad agency that handles the advertising for the Navy. I wish it were front and center for the moms to know that we exist but I'm just lucky they have my link on there at all. We have been growing by word of mouth and the more dads that find us, word will spread faster.
One day we will rise and be known to all! We all must keep spreading the word about us.

My son is an ABE aboard the USS Ronald Reagan in San Diego, Ca. and my family and I couldn't be prouder of him. When he first enlisted I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. I'm so glad to find out their are so many proud Navy Dads just like myself. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. As a parent of a sailor currently or soon to be at Great Lakes you'll have many questions about what your son is going through.
