  • When you are weak HE is strong .TRUST IN THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART ALL YOUR MIND AND ALL YOUR STRENGTH DO NOT LEAN ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT.

  • At 6:48am on December 23, 2009, blondie said… Crystal, that's great, it's going to look wonderful! don't do too much we want Justen to recognize the place! LOL i know it's depressing to loss yur job like you did, but look at all your getting done and the time you'll have with Justen. I know God has a plan for you, and it will be better then it was.

Merry Christmas to you too. i'll get to see 3 out of my 4 (not my sailor) but only for a few hours! i quess anything is better then nothing. my oldest son is comming in late tonight and leaving tommorrow noonish, i swear we're just a free overnight stay. my daughter and new sil will come in Christmas morning and leave Christmas night, wish they'd stay the night. because they are with his family Christmas eve until early morning , so they will not have much sleep. my youngest son will meet us at my father's for the "big" family Christmas, so not alot of one-on-one time with any of them. But i'll get to see them ! Praying for safe travels for Justen i'll check in next mon. when i come back to work. HUGS!

  • i understand completely, people think they know it all and know nothing. or they expect everything to go as clock work, like it's a regular job. early deployment? late? change, on hold Oh NO! yeh, welcome to my world. sorry i try not to get bitter, but you started, LOL keep in touch.
  • Crystal, Welcome Aboard!

I'm so glad to have the Navy Moms on here to keep us men in line. My son is an ABE aboard the USS Ronald Reagan in San Diego, Ca. and my family and I couldn't be prouder of him. When he first enlisted I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. We have many moms on the site and benefit greatly from their point of views and we are willing to help the moms in any way we can. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Thank Justen for his service for me and you and your husband's as well. Thanks again for joining us.

    Sincerely, EG
  • Welcome to NavyDads Crystal! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric just returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat returned last fall from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Crystal this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how Justen is doing! And Crystal- thank you and your husband for your service to our great country! Best Regards- Paul
