  • Simplest way for music is to click Applications under your profile picture. There is an app called jukebox that plays music with instructions. I do not know how well it works...there are other players like the one at www.myflashfetish.com (the one I use)- but it involves copying some embed code to your page. Try the simple verison first...if you are not satisified there is a discussion in the Forum under How to Do Stuff on NavyDads about adding music players, counters, graphics, etc.. Let me know how things work out............
  • Tom- give a couple of days to get back with some guideline to the music question...I'm dealing with a plumbing issue at home right now that keeps growing and am not spending much time on the computer as a result!!
  • Hi John, my name is Ralph. My son is an MA also. My son Ralph Jr. is stationed in Corpus Christi. He loves being an MA, and the navy. He has been in the navy for about 9 months, and he has already taken his test for petty officer 3rd class.
  • Bravo Tom--- if not for the dedicated service of our young people I fear that we would have lost many of the freedoms we take for granted each and every day. Being part of NavDads has reinforced in me the realization that freedom is not free and that each liberty we hold so dear has been paid for in blood. God Bless and Protect the United States!
  • Welcome to NavyDads Tom! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is on the tail end of a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat recently returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Tom this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how John is doing! And Tom- thank you for your service to our great country. Best Regards- Paul
  • Tom, thank you for joining NAVY DAD'S. Your experiences through your sons career will be a valuable asset for other parents to help find answers to any questions they may have. Thank you for your sons commitment and thank him for me. I know the pride you feel and wish you and your son the best. GARY F.
  • Tom, Welcome Aboard! I found navyformoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. I'm so glad to find out their are so many proud Navy Dads just like myself. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Thank John for his service for me and yours as well. Thanks again for joining us.
    Sincerely,E.G
